ON-DEMAND STATISTICS COURSES
** COMING IN 2024 **
About Statistical Stories, LLC:
I am the founder and CEO of Statistical Stories. I began this company in 2022 as a creative outlet for my love of teaching data analysis. I believe that data analysis should be practical, useful and as easy-to-understand as possible. All statistics tell a story, and my goal is to help you figure out which story you want to tell and how.
Currently, Statistical Stories is expanding to include on-demand virtual courses. These courses will explore the foundations of applied statistics, such as counting observations in frequency tables and using simple summary statistics such as means and standard deviations. My courses will also explore more intermediate and advanced topics, such as bivariate analysis with crosstabs and chi-square as well as linear and logistic regressions.
You can't tell a statistical story without a storyteller, so I will walk you through each course. We will begin each section with basic terms and definitions, look at practical applications of each statistic and wrap up with an SPSS demonstration. Each course will come packaged with self-study exercises, guidance on how to download publicly available data sets and suggestions for owning or renting your own copy of SPSS.
